Volunteer with Us – Fun, Engaging, and Rewarding! Are you ready to make a difference while having fun? As a Family Engagement Volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to play with children & create lasting memories. It’s all about creating a positive, safe, and enjoyable environment where the kids can thrive – and the more we work together, the more fun we’ll have! Key Responsibilities: Engage with children: Play, interact, and engage in fun activities with children of all ages. Whether it’s playing games, doing crafts, or simply offering a kind word, your time and attention make a difference! Ensure a clean and safe environment: Help keep the playing areas tidy and free from clutter to ensure a safe and enjoyable space for the children. Assist staff as needed: Work alongside the YMCA staff, following their guidance and instructions. They’ll be there to support you and help with any questions or challenges. Promote a positive experience: Greet children warmly, and help make every child feel welcomed and cared for during their time in our programs. Support children's needs: Alert staff if a child needs assistance, you'll be there to lend a helping hand, but staff will handle the more specific care tasks. Be part of the fun: You’re not just a volunteer – you’re a key part of creating an exciting, friendly atmosphere where kids are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow. Why Volunteer?
