YMCA Southeastern North Carolina
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on chronic disease and well-being? This opportunity is open to both volunteers and interns who want to support their community through health education, chronic disease management and prevention, and wellness initiatives. As a Y Health Volunteer or Y Health Intern, you may collaborate with healthcare professionals, local organizations, and community members to develop, implement, and evaluate programs that improve the overall health of diverse populations. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in community health while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Whether you are pursuing a career in healthcare, public health, nonprofit work, or simply want to give back to your community, this opportunity will provide you with tools, knowledge, and connections to grow personally and professionally. Interns will need to have a YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina Intern Agreement signed by their School's Internship Coordinator.
